A Legacy of Faith and Service

Founded in 1866, St. Paul UMC has been a steadfast presence in San Antonio for over 157 years. Our journey began with a small group of dedicated individuals who sought to create a place of worship, fellowship, and outreach. Over the decades, our church has grown and evolved, yet our commitment to serving the needs of our community remains unwavering.

Our Historic Sanctuary

Nestled in the Dignowity Hill neighborhood, our historic sanctuary stands as a testament to the architectural and spiritual heritage of our congregation. The steeple, reaching towards the sky, has become a symbol of hope for generations of worshippers. As you enter the sanctuary, you will be surrounded by the warmth of stained glass windows and the echoes of hymns that have filled these sacred walls for decades.

Community Impact

St. Paul UMC is more than a place of worship; it's a community of compassionate individuals dedicated to making a positive impact. Throughout the years, our members have been involved in numerous outreach programs, supporting local charities, organizing community events, and extending a helping hand to those in need. Our commitment to social justice and community service reflects the teachings of Christ and the enduring spirit of love.

Embracing Diversity

As a church, we celebrate diversity and welcome all who seek solace, fellowship, and spiritual growth. St. Paul UMC is a place where people from all walks of life come together to worship, learn, and build meaningful connections.
